The latest on the Iowa State Police job... Josh had a post-background check interview with one of KY State Police's detectives last night. Apparently Iowa passed his info down here so they wouldn't have to drive all the way down to do it. Anyway, this is the last step in the process and the detective said he was very impressed with Josh and he was going to give him a bad recommendation to Iowa so Josh would have to come work for KY instead. :)
He said everything in the file looked really good and everything checked out on the background check. Everything looks like a go from here. Now we just wait for an official job offer. It could be as late as August before we get that, but at least we finally have some good news.
We'll post more as we know more.
