A Few Fun Things

So here is the latest on a few fun things Sadie likes to do. She's quite the little ham. Her new favorite thing to do is walk around with her eyes covered. She did it for the first time about a week ago and ran right into the corner of the wall, after which she promptly cried. She was covering her face with Boo. Now she will cover her eyes with her hands and walk around, but here is a little video of her using Boo the other day to try the same stunt that got her into trouble the first time.

She also loves putting things inside other things. She puts toys, books and shoes in the magazine rack, my kitchen drawers and her very favorite place of all is Daddy's boots. He left them outside the door one day while she was outside and he came back to a stick and several rocks in them. I caught her briefly in the act of filling them today. Daddy's had to get in the habit of checking his boots before inserting his foot.

She's discovered her belly button and can find it on request now. She also knows where her ears and toes are but struggles a little with her eyes, nose and mouth, though she can find Daddy's nose pretty well and sticks her fingers up it whenever she gets close enough. She's very adept at climbing up and down steps now and keeps us hopping while she runs around investigating her world.

Our neighbor Bobby gave her a peppermint stick the other day and boy did she think that thing was great. Unfortunately so did Shelby and I don't think Sadie got too many licks on it before Shelby gobbled the rest of it up. Here are a few pictures of the fun.
