Home Sweet Home

We finally made it home. Only for a few short, precious days, but home it was and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly while we were there. The first order of business when we got back was to drop Sadie's bed all the way down to keep the little climber from crawling out. She was most anxious to help Daddy with that project. She crawled right in there and pulled herself up on Daddy to assist in any way she could.

Here she is in the finished project. She's quite proud of her accomplishment.

She was also quite anxious to help Momma with the Thanksgiving baking. However, that wasn't working too well so I gave her her own bowl, spoon and measuring cups and she played with those for quite awhile, just as happy as could be. Great invention, those measuring cups. :)

We've been enjoying having Daddy at home so much. She knows exactly who he is now and when he walks in the house and calls her, away she crawls as fast as she can to find him. It's so cute. They enjoyed an intimate moment the other night while he gave her a bottle before bed. She's such big stuff she holds the bottle herself now. Too cute!

Poor little tyke has been hauled all over the country the last few days. She sleeps really well at night cuz she's so tired. The other night before I went to bed I checked to make sure she was still covered up and this is what I found.

Doesn't look too comfortable to me. She was so tired she fell asleep sitting up.

We are looking forward with great longing to being home after the holidays to stay for awhile.
