Lots of Excitement

Well it's been a little while since I posted and boy am I behind! :) We've had so many exciting things going on here since Josh got home. We had a very relaxed yet busy week right after Josh got back. We spent a lot of time enjoying our beautiful weather outside and working on projects around the house. Sadie and Daddy have had some great bonding times together and are now inseparable. :)

We took a trip to Waco, TX to see Josh's brother and his family last week. We just got back last night and had a great time. Sadie and Gavin (their little guy) are 5 weeks apart in age. Gavin is 5 weeks younger than Sadie, but he's got about 4-5 lbs over her. They were so cute together.

It worked out that Josh's parents were down there at the same time for Josh's Dad's job and we had a great time with them too.

We picked up the truck Josh bought while we were in TX and drove it back. Sadie was such a good traveler, I couldn't believe it. She hated her car seat just a few weeks ago and would scream the entire trip. She slept for large chunks of time on this road trip and played happily in her car seat for a time. We stopped every so often and as long as she got fed, got a clean diaper and got to stretch her legs for awhile she was happy to go back into the truck and sleep some more. Here she is showing what big stuff she is in her Daddy's new truck.

Sadie has also "learned" no. It's a very funny new trick when we ask her questions and she shakes her head. I think we're in trouble. :)

We head up to D.C. Thursday morning and will be there until they send Josh back over. We're hoping for at least another week, but we won't know for sure until we get there. These 2 weeks have gone very fast. Our hope is that the next 2 months go even faster.
