1st Christmas & Home

Sadie had a fun-filled first Christmas in MN with Josh's family. She loved playing with her cousins. She played tag with Eva, jumped on Mimi & Bumpa's bed with her and helped her set up her new baby changing station that she got for Christmas.

She loved playing with cousin Gavin too. The two look like they could be sister and brother.

She also loved pushing him on the new tractor she got from Mimi and Bumpa. Those two are so cute together.

Mimi made her a new Christmas dress. She and Eva had matching jumpers. So cute!

We had a great time with the family and we were so glad everyone could get together this year! Trying to get a family picture was rather interesting with little squirmy ones, but I think we did all right. :) Boy is this family growing!

We finally came home last Sunday and boy is it good to be back!!!! It felt like we'd be wandering forever! It took Sadie a couple of days to adjust to a new place again, but she's back on her regular schedule now and we're all enjoying some normalcy. Sort of. We're trying to get our lives back in order so we've been crazy busy, but it's a good busy. We seem to be overflowing our space these days so we're selling stuff on Ebay. In the words of Dave Ramsey we're selling so much stuff Sadie and Shelby think they're next. :) Josh has been very busy re-organizing his shop this past week. It suffered some while he was gone. Sadie LOVES going out to help him. Here they are working in the shop yesterday...

I think she's gonna be a Daddy's girl, if she's not already. She gets very excited every time she sees him and follows him around like a little puppy when he's in the house.

She's already taken a few steps without help and wants to walk very badly. She actually walked across the room unassisted for the first time today. Won't be long now! One of the cutest things she started doing recently was making the "Grumpy Face". Most of the time she makes it when she's not happy about something, but sometimes she does it at random times. It makes us laugh so hard. Here she is making the grumpy face while getting changed.

She got her Christmas wish and got her two front teeth just before Christmas day. We're very happy those crazy things came through! We now have a much happier baby.
