Climbing

Our little monkey has decided that climbing on and up things is a very fun thing to do. She especially likes steps. She took a nose dive off the front porch a couple of weeks ago because she climbed up the steps and thought she could fly off of them, apparently. So we've had to watch her closely now around steps.

Josh was putting some things in the attic yesterday and I was busy in the living room when all of sudden Josh calls me over and this is what I found.

Sadie's also started jabbering new sounds lately. Just jibberish but she really sounds like she's trying to talk. It's so cute! She continues to love reading books. Most days she "reads" them to herself and then chews on the corners. A couple of days ago she was crabby while I was trying to fix supper and Josh was reading up on fixing our terribly weed-ugly lawn. So I put Sadie on his lap to read a book and they read the lawn book together. She thought it was pretty fun.

Josh just finished a week-long vacation from work and we sure enjoyed the time off. We worked on projects around the house, slept in and played outside a lot. Sadie especially liked having Daddy in bed with us in the morning. Her favorite thing to do was push him out of bed when she wanted to get out herself. She would shove him with her feet and when that didn't work she would reach up and push with her hands. She laughed and laughed when Daddy fell on the floor. She sure loves having him around. They're pretty cute together.
