Milestones and Birthdays!

Well, we've reached another milestone. Sadie is pulling herself up along furniture and walking along it. She loves having her hands held while she walks around and she crawls so fast now. Here she is pulling herself up on Auntie Aubrey the first day she started doing it. She thinks she's pretty big stuff letting go and standing all by herself too.

With this new-found talent comes a lot more bumps and bruises as well. She pulls herself up under tables, benches and chairs and has had several head bumps because of it.

After spending an extra week in Oklahoma with my sister and her husband, we moved on to the great state of Iowa so Josh could test for 5 days for a position with the Iowa state police. He did really well with all his tests and now we wait to see if he gets the job. We may be waiting until June for the results so we're trying to be patient. In the meantime he's still applying for other jobs in the federal government. We stayed with my cousin Steph and her husband Ben while we were there in Des Moines. They just had a little baby boy a little over a month ago and it was so fun to see him and spend time with them. We had a great time and Sadie was well entertained by all the animals in the house. They have a big dog and cat and Shelby joined them as well. Talk about a zoo! But it was fun. Their dog was so good with Sadie and she liked using him as a prop.

After Iowa we drove up to MN for Christmas with Josh's side of the family. We're up here enjoying the snow.

Today is Sadie's 9 Month birthday. She is growing so big.

Her two top teeth are trying desperately to break through. One of them is starting to break through already and the other is very very close. She fell and hit the other one a couple of days ago so she has one about to break through and one brused one. Needless to say, she's been rather miserable. Mimi found something very exciting to help her feel better...
